Started at University of Utah, transferred to Utah State and finished a BS in Print Journalism.
Married Ben Steele in 2002, who was an art student at University of Utah. After living in Logan and back in Salt Lake, moved to a tiny little artists' community called Helper in 2003, where I started working on the local newspaper and coaching a small high school girls' basketball team. Quit at the newspaper when Ben's art career got too crazy and began running the office, designing websites, and volunteering as the Director of the Helper Arts Festival.
Just bought local restaurant with another couple and have been learning the ins and outs of food.
