Devin Landeen

Devin Robert Landeen, 26, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012, in Idaho Falls.

Devin was born December 9, 1985, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Carl Raymond Landeen and Jennifer Lynne Stosich Landeen. He is the second oldest child of six. He grew up in the Idaho Falls area and attended Osgood Elementary, Eagle Rock Jr. High, and graduated from Skyline High School, where he participated in drama and choir.

He continued his education at BYU-Idaho and Idaho State University. He worked for Qwest and MicroServe.

Devin was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was involved in the scouting program and graduated from Seminary. He loved computers and computer technology, music, video games, movies, being creative, and hunting.

Devin was the second oldest of 49 grandchildren on his mother’s side and has over 40 cousins, with whom he enjoyed spending time. He especially had a soft spot in his heart for the younger ones and would go out of his was to pay attention to them, hold them on his lap, and play with them. He loved doing things for others – all you had to do was ask and he would be there to help (especially if it had anything to do with electronics). He was a whiz and knew how to fix just about anything.

Devin was loved by many and all considered him their friend; he was warm and caring and funny. He always had a way of making people laugh with his unique humor. Devin was blessed with a warm and caring heart, but most of all he was blessed with a smile that could light up any room.

The family of Devin wish to thank everyone for their love and support.
