Elaine Marie Kenoyer- Hall

June 22nd,1951 - September 9th, 2917

Elaine "Lainey" was called to Heaven on September 9th, 2917 due to complications of diabetes. Elaine was the daughter of Ted and Eleanor of Ackworth, Ia.  She was a Librarian in the high school for a time.  In 1970, she attended business school in Olathe, KS. where she met her future husband, Gene.  They were married May 19th, 1970. On May 16th,1972, there daughter Angela was born. Elaine was active in 4H as a member and a leader, where she won awards for cooking and sewing. She was a member of WCG(Women for Constitutional),where she actively lobbied, including the Lobby for home schooling.  Elaine was a employee of Look Magazine and Baker Trust.  Later Elaine was an ESL instructor, where she helped the Hispanic society learn English. As a devoted Christian Elaine served as a Sunday School teacher. Above all else Elaine was a wife, mother and homemaker. She is survived by her husband Gene, daughter Angela(Matt)  Rehbein of Norwalk, granddaughter Hannah, grandson Cole of Sante Fe, NM., honorary grandson Christopher Miller of Des Moines , and a brother and sister.

What a lovely memorial. I did not know Elaine very well in HS but she always was a very nice person. It sounds like she touched many peoples lives with her caring and love... I am sorry for her family and friends loss.
