Roger Martin Knouse, 72 Kingwood, Texas passed away June 30, 2023. He was the youngest of six born to Simon Newton and Beulah Knouse on December 26,1950 in Indianola, Iowa.  After graduating from Indianola high school he joined the United States Army in 1969. He was soon deployed to Vietnam when he served two tours.  Once back from Vietnam, he met the mother of his children, Debbie Ripperger Vetters.  They had to sons, Cody and Jason. He had a career as an executive and the oil and gas industry working for Kinder Morgan. He was a member of St.  Judes, Vietnam Veterans of America, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He had passion for Harley Davidson, the Iowa Hawkeyes, and Amazon Prime, and his family. His passion for his family was evident to everyone he met. His boys and grandchildren was the absolute joy of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Ted, Tom, Joyce, and Sherry.   He is survived by his twosons and four grandchildren and his sister June Wood and his niece and nephew, Lea and John Wood who was like siblings to him, and many loved nieces and nephews. Roger will greatly missed by all his family and friends who he Roger will always be in the known for his kind and gentle heart.
