Ricky Lynn Young (Rick), 68, of Des Moines, Iowa, was born May 15, 1951 to Ivan and Joanne (Aubent) Young  in Indianola. Rick passed away July 6, 2019 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.                                   

Rick married Deborah Johnson in 1974, and to this union was born a daughter, Christina Lynn.   In 1989, he married Caryn (Freeman) Tompkins.  Rick worked for Capitol Sanitary Supply, as well as, co-owner  Denric Maintenance with his brother Denny. He was a great fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Green Bay Packers. Rick loved to woodwork, Garden, play his guitar and spend time with his grandchildren.

 Rick is survived by his loving wife of 30 years and his three children.
