I am so glad I had the chance to have a long conversation with Murray at our last reunion.  He was a very special guy.  My heart goes out to Janet and his girls!  Peace to all.  Pam (Johansen) Benson

We are so saddened for Janet, Kimberly and Katie to have to share Murray with the Lord.

Murray and Janet invited me to their church in the summer of 1982.  I attended, but was afraid to give my life to the Lord right then--didn' t think I was good enough and I might have to stop my cussing!  but that planted some good seed, because within weeks, I made a decision that would change my life.  Murray used to drive to Creston, where Craig and I lived,  once a week to teach us and a group of our friends a Bible study.  Janet's Bible and Murray's bible were written in, underlined, highlighted, and well worn.  I had never seen such a thing.  He was a precious patient soul with us.  I am so grateful for the time he invested in us.  We moved to Oregon in 1984 and we are still serving Jesus.  Murray made sure we knew that Jesus is still alive.

We celebrated when we were expecting our babies together.   My daughter loved spending time with Murray's girls.  We last met with Janet and Murray when we met them for dinner while we attendend a conference in Dallas about 5 years ago.  Would have hugged him a little tighter if I had known we wouldn't see him again this side of heaven!

so sending hugs and prayers to Janet and Kim and Katie.

In HIs Extravagant Love,

Arla and Craig
