Shawna was tragically killed in a motor vehicle collision while riding as a passenger on a motorcycle on March 18, 2007. She was always polite and reserved, and her basketball skills were uncanny. Here Shawna is shown with her daughter Amanda
I hope everyone knows how great she was at being a mom. Amanda misses her so much but is doing wonderful. Mike is a great dad and her stepmother is a really good person who only wants the best for her. I visited Shawna the day before she died and miss her a bunch, we weren't close for long but our girls are best friends and it is hard to think of her sometimes.
