It’s finally here! It’s been ten long years or more since we’ve gotten to see each other, and we hope everyone can make it! We can’t wait to get together, see old friends, and reminisce..............

We are starting our reunion with a family picnic on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at The Longhouse Shelter in Seneca Park from 12-5. Yes, this is the same place where we had our infamous senior picnic! We will have a couple of kegs of beer, and Harladay Hots will be available from 1-3 if you’d like to purchase hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken, sausage, or additional drinks. A dish to pass would be greatly appreciated; please indicate on your RSVP form what you plan to bring. There will be a kickball game at 3:00 also. You're welcome to bring sports equipment, games you’d like to play, fishing poles for the pond, and lots of stories to share! It should be a great time for all of our families.

 

The high school will providing a tour of the updated property at 11:00, please indicate on your RSVP if you plan on attending.

If you would like to visit the zoo while you are there, the zoo is offering a discounted group rate of if you enter as a group of 10 or more.

The party continues later the same evening at 8:00 at Silk O'Loughlins in Summerville at 5980 St Paul Blvd. There will be a live band, drink specials, and in case of rain, a tent will be provided. Come hang out, relax, and make new memories while sharing old ones.

Please help us spread the word and add any of your Facebook high school friends you don't see on the invite list. If you know of people who are not on Facebook, and you have a recent address, email, and/or phone number, please send them this link or message Jenny Trynkus Nakas or Heather Gordon Bonadonna. If you know of people who would have graduated with us but moved before 1984, please add them as well. We are trying to do as little mailing as possible.

This is a free event, so you have no excuse not to attend. The only costs would be if you’d like to use the food vendor or if you’d like to get drinks later at the adult event. If you’d like to donate to the class, it’s greatly appreciated. You can click on the donations link or bring your donations the day of the reunion. We have designed some classic Irondequoit Indian t-shirts; please check out the products page to preorder.

Also, if you have any older kids who would really enjoy entertaining the younger ones while their parents catch up, please mention that in your response. We could use helpers for face painting, tatoos, games, playground fun, etc.
