March 18, 1980 - March 6, 2009
It saddens me to let you all know of the sudden passing of our dear friend, Steven Thorton,
The cause was a heart attack. He had a blood clot that traveled to his heart.
If you were at the reunion, you will remember Steven as the life of the party!! Steven helped make it possible.
He was a go-getter, a hard worker, a tried and true friend, a brother, and a son. Let's all remember Steven's family, especially his sister, Christy, in our thoughts and prayers.

I was so sad to hear about Steven I did not make it the reuion but I heard he had a really good time. I have went to school with Steven starting in 3rd grade until graduation and I know he will be deeply missed by his friends and family. He really was a very sweet guy.Virginia Richardson (Haney)
Steven was the absolute life of the party at our reunion. The night belonged to him.He was the kindest, sweetest person I think I have ever known. I can't remember him ever having something bad to say about anyone. He was sooooo funny. Everyday, Steven embraced life. I am so proud of the person he was and the angel he will be in heaven.
We don't always understand God's reasons, but I KNOW something will come from this. If nothing else, may we all learn to appreciate what we have and the life we are graciously given everyday!
I love you "Thor" and I will miss you everyday until we meet again.

I recently found out after Steven passed that we were somehow related cousins I think is what my mom said. And I never knew he was. I am very sad to hear of his passing. But my mom told me he had a blood clot and that it was hereditary.
