I talked to Ron when he was in Hospice about two weeks before he went to Heaven.  We talked about Heaven and we  were both thankful we would be together again some day. After I said goodby, Ron said, " I'll see you down the road."  Ron was one of those persons you wish could  have been more a part of your life.  We will have another reunion though.

I'm sorry that Ron Eagan passed away but, at the same time, I'm glad his suffering from his cancer is over and he's now in a better place, a place with no more pain. I knew him ever since elementary school at Bloomfield and he was a great guy even then. He remained a nice guy throughout his school years, always cheerful, sincere, and fun to be with. I only regret that he wasn't a bigger part of my life as he was the kind of guy you wish you had known better. You're now at peace, old friend.     Jim Collins
