Ron Clanton

Ricky and I were on the track team together at Lee. We did the the same event and spent hours together training for the pole vault and doing our best to hide from Coach Barret. He was such an upbeat guy and we became good friends doing a lot of crazy things over those three years. I remember he had one of the fastest v W's I'd ever been in. He used to open it up on the way to the beach to see how fast he could get it to go. He was always full of energy and full of confidence. Stuart I was right saying we have lost some wonderful people. Ricky was certainly one of them. May God bless.
