Susan Garrett Tencza

Married, moved away from Jax. Had 2 children. Lost Mom to cancer. Lost cheating spouse to low hanging fruit (LOL but in long run did me a HUGE favor!),but have gained a wonderful fiancee who is now my spouse. Lost Dad to COPD and Alzheimers. Both children grown happy and starting their lives with people they love. Daughter has 2 sons and my son and his wife are adopting a child hopefully soon! I am very excited for them.

Graduated from Meredith College with BA in History and Teaching Certification.

I currently recently retired from Fidelity Investments where I worked as a Customer Resolution Manager with the Pension Department.

Now I spend my time with good friends, traveling with my wonderful hubby, cooking and just enjoying life.

I just remember not being super involved -- wanted to but my mom had issues that I tried to hide from the world. Because of that I rarely invited people in to my world. Even the few people who did know her never knew the depth of her problems and what I had to deal with. I was often taking care of my younger sister.
Because I was so often seen with her I actually had a teacher ask if I was her mother! Apparently someone had "confided" to her that they thought I was. Nope just trying to make sure she had a childhood of happy memories instead of hiding when "mom was in one of her moods".

My dad also had a serious accident in '73 so it was difficult for him to help much. I only went to 1 football game when a friend of the family was in town that could help him on the bleachers.
