Julie Sang (Sermersheim)

SERMERSHEIM, JULIE ANN (SANG), daughter of Herbert Allen Sang and the late Alice Jean  (Coleman) Sang, was born June 28, 1957 in Kansas City, MO and departed this life July 6, 2012 at her residence in Winter Garden, FL. She had attained the age of 55 years and eight days. Mrs. Sermersheim had resided in Winter Garden for the past three years and was formerly of St. Cloud, FL where she lived for three years and prior to that she had resided in Kissimmee, FL for 17 years. She was a dedicated school teacher and taught grades kindergarten through ninth, and was certified in teaching reading. She was a graduate of Terry Parker High School in Jacksonville and member of the First United Methodist Church in Kissimmee and has remained respectful of her Baptist upbringing. Julie loved reading and spending time with her son, Jonathan. On February 11, 1984 she was united in marriage to Gary L. Sermersheim in Jacksonville, FL. Survivors include her husband, Gary Sermersheim of Winder Garden, FL; one son, Jonathan Coleman Sermersheim of Winter Garden, FL; her father, Herb Sang and step-mother Patsy of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Allen Coleman Sang and his wife Kimberly of Lake Mary, FL; and many other relatives and friends who mourn her passing. A graveside funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in the Masonic Cemetery in Van Buren, MO with Rev. Ron Robinson officiating.
