Kyra Melody Robinson, 32, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014 at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
Born in Onslow County on September 6, 1981, she was a daughter of Virginia Carol "Gina" Barron Robinson of Jacksonville and the late Thomas Wayne Robinson.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, is a sister, Kimberly Robinson of Raleigh; maternal grandmother, Esther Barron of Jacksonville, paternal grandparents, Tom and Sandy Robinson of Oldtown, Maryland; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Reynolds Barron.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 1, 2014, at the American Legion Fairgrounds building in Jacksonville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Onslow County Relay for Life, 365 South Commons Drive, Jacksonville, North Carolina 28546; or to Onslow County Home Health & Hospice, 4024 Richlands Highway, Jacksonville, North Carolina 28540.

I heard she had cancer, but that's not confirmed. Sad to hear she passed away. I knew her dad pretty well and Kyra and I had several classes together at JHS.
