To all who will go to his funeral, thank you and God Bless you for caring about Luther. He absolutely always had a smile for everyone even those who could not summon the courage to call him a friend. He never ever spoke ill of anyone and I personally am struggling with his loss and not be able to attend his funeral. Please pass on my condolences to his family.

I Love You Luther!

Rest in peace brother!!!!

same here, Ronda. I am so sad about his passing, and that I couldn't make the services. Godspeed Luther, you will always be missed and remembered.

I was able to attend the funeral services for Luther. It was a wonderful tribute to him! Perhaps the most moving part of the service was when family, friends, fraternity brothers, co-workers, former students, etc. had the opportunity to reflect on Luther's life and how much he impacted their lives. The mayor of city in which he was the H.S. principal attested to that and proclaimed July 2, 2009 Luther Johnson, Jr. Day!!!!! Timothy Simmons spoke so eloquently on behalf of the Class of 88. It was truly a lovely service. Luther will be missed terribly but not forgotten.

i was able to attend the funeral service for Luther and it hit me while i was there, that although we weren't close in high school, he was the glue that held the class of '88 close all these years, and because of that i will be ever grateful for Luther.

the service was very touching and he touched so many lives.

This is alittle late, but I just want to say that we lost someone who was considered as part of the glue that kept us all togather at Ragsdale. He will truly be missed.

I attended the funeral and it was truly a beautiful service.   I can't believe that it has already been over a year since we lost him.  I still miss you Luther!  You were such an amazing person!  Your absence is felt.  RIP
