Adrienne West (Shell) VIEW PROFILE

Adrienne Christine Shell, 32, of Jefferson City passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013, at her home after a brave battle against uterine cancer. She was born March 16, 1981, in Fulton, Missouri, a daughter of Irvin and Debra (Harris) West.

She was a 1999 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Truman State University.

On January 10, 2004, Adrienne was united in marriage to Ray Shell, who survives at their home.

She worked as a contributions technician for the Missouri Division of Employment Security for several years. After the birth of her children she became a homemaker while continuing to do quarterly part-time work. She was an active member of Concord Baptist Church, where she played violin in the orchestra and participated in MOPS and the Apples of Gold program.

Adrienne enjoyed video games, anime, computers and scrapbooking. She loved being with her children and was a devoted mother.

In addition to her husband Ray, Adrienne is survived by her parents, Irvin and Debra West of Jefferson City; one daughter, Kira Shell; one son, Tiernan Shell; one sister, Lindsey Struemph and husband Andrew of Jefferson City; one brother, Daniel West of Kansas City; one brother-in-law, Jason Shell and wife Darci of Tracy, California; two nieces, Lilly and Ava Struemph; and two nephews, Aidan Struemph and Jackson Shell.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ray Mac Shell, Sr., on April 5, 2013.
