The Reunion times are as follows:

From the Photographer:

Class photos will be 8 x 10 and cost $10.00.

Couples photos are available in two packages:

  • Package A - one 8 x 10, one 5 x 7, and four wallets - costs $15.00.
  • Package B - one 8 x 10, two 5 x 7s, and eight wallets - costs $21.00.

A shipping fee of $2.50 will be added to each order.

Photo orders placed with the photographer after the reunion will incur a shipping fee of $3.00.

 Hi Fellow JM Alums!

A few announcements have come from the latest reunion meeting.  Please take a few minutes to read this list if you are attending the reunion.  Bear with me; it’s a long note, but it’s all very important stuff!

 

  • About the tickets
    • Everyone must prepay for the reunion as we are being charged per individual.
    • Please purchase your tickets as soon as possible because we have installment payments to make between now and the reunion.  Prompt ticket purchases are very important because the classes did not have any money at the start of this venture.
    • The final cut-off date to purchase tickets is March 16th.  All tickets must be mailed or made by this date.  We will not be able to accept ticket purchases after March 18th.
    • Tickets will not be sold at the reunion.  Again, this is because we are paying per individual and have to give a final count to the hotel on March 18th.
    • Paper tickets will not be mailed to you.  We are compiling a list of those who purchased tickets.  We will have name tags for you and your guest at a registration table outside the ballroom.
  • About the hotel
    • Some individuals have had difficulty getting our group rate at the Holiday Inn.  Please make sure you ask for IN-HOUSE RESERVATIONS and the guaranteed rate of $89.00/night.  If you are not given this price, please contact Carrie Bedilion Simkovic.
    • Check-in is at 2pm, and check-out is at 11am.
    • A brunch will also be available on Sunday, although the price is not known at this time.
  • About the party
    • A bartender and cash bar will be available to us in our ballroom.
    • A DJ is compiling a collection of 80s music for us to play through the hotel’s sound system in our ballroom.
  • About the photos
    • Please bring any scanned or copied photos to display on a memory table for your class.  Please do not bring original photos, as no guarantee is made that the photos will be returned to you.
    • A group photo will be taken of each class.  The photos are available for purchase but will not be ready to take home that night.  The price is unknown at this time and should be paid to the photographer at the reunion.
  • About the questionnaire
    • The questionnaire on the reunion registration page of the class site is going to be used to create a class directory for everyone at the reunion.  Please fill out the information you would like to share with your fellow classmates.
    • Please fill out the names of the reunion attendees since we need that information to make name tags.

Here's the latest reunion information as of 19 January 2009.

The combined Class of '87-'88-'89 Reunion is scheduled for Saturday, 28 March 2009, at the Holiday Inn, Uniontown.  To reserve a room at the special rate of $89.00 for the night, make sure you tell the hotel that you are attending the reunion.  The phone number for the front desk at the Holiday Inn is 724-437-2816, or reserve your room using the general reservations number 1-888- HOLIDAY (888-465-4329).

The cost for tickets will be as follows:  $75.00 per couple and $40.00 per individual if you pay by check.  Checks can be mailed to one of the following class contacts:

Your reunion ticket includes:

  • cost to rent the venue
  • buffet dinner (london broil, stuffed chicken breast, baked ziti, vegetable, potato, salad, rolls & butter, coffee, tea, iced tea, dessert)
  • music/dancing
  • classmates directory of reunion attendees
  • tax (6%) and gratuity (20%)

Because we have tried to make the cost of the tickets as reasonable as possible, we are still evaluating the budget regarding alcoholic beverages.  The options we are exploring are drink tickets, open bar for a limited time, and providing our own beer.  In addition, a cash bar is available at the hotel until 2:00AM.

The PayPal option is now available at the bottom of the Reunion page.  You are not required to have a PayPal account to take advantage of paying online.  The cost of the tickets through PayPal will be $77.00 per couple and $41.00 per individual to help offset the cost for this service.  Payments can be made with Visa, MasterCard, AmericanExpress, Discover, or your PayPal account if you have one.  Step 3 in the process will take you to the secure PayPal site to enter your payment information.  If you do not have a PayPal login, please click on the Continue link in the small print when you are taken to the PayPal site.  Please email me if you have any questions, and I will be glad to help.

Please use the Reunion Sign-up Form if you plan to attend.  Also, make sure you have checked the Attending Reunion box in your profile.  We plan to send invitations through this class site to save on postage where we can.
