2. Dissection of penis by female classmate with fishing line tied to base prior eve and pulled upright as she initiated dissection leading to a screaming fit and her departure from dissection hall.

2020 : Giants in Dermatology award from American Academy of Dermatology- one of six given award .

2 years Fellowship in London, followed by Land Rover 6 Month trip with Pam, Keith and Kerith from London to Europe and then across , Sahara and rest of Africa back to S.A.
After 18 months and a little rugby off to Dallas for another 2 year Fellowship and stayed.
Initiated first International Gene Bank for Psoriasis in 1993 at our institution at Baylor, Dallas and discovered first gene for Psoriasis published in Science in 1994
Initiated International Psoriasis Council 21 years ago and was honoured with Lifetime achievement award in November 2013 in an event held in Dallas in my honour with $1.2 million being raised for Psoriasis research worldwide .
445 Publications to date , including in "Science", "Lancet", "New England Journal of Medicine ","JAMA" plus all Dermatology Journals.

Currently Chair Dermatology at Baylor Dallas and chair Guidelines committee for the American Academy of Dermatology for Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis.
March 2015 honoured by Dermatology Foundation at annual American Academy of Dermatology meeting in San Francisco with the Clark Finerud annual award .
March 2016 received a Presidential Citation at annual American Academy of Dermatology meeting in Washington DC.
2020 Received one of 5 national awards for "Giants of Dermatology " from American Academy of Dermatology
Most importantly 2 Grand daughters , aged 8 and 10 and first Grandson aged , 5 years ,fortunately now all in Dallas.
