CINDY LOU COSTA of Eureka, Ca. went to the Lord on February 3, 2018. She was born Cindy Lou Hartong on August 8th, 1958 in Canton Ohio. She is survived by her loving husband Thomas Costa, one brother Glen Hartong of Canton, Ohio and her extended family in the Church of Christ. Also her two "girls" each with four legs and wagging tail. Cindy was a devoted servant of the lord. Her life was God-centered and anyone who knew her, heard about the lord. She was active in working with the world Bible school. She financially supported missionaries and children homes. She was a CASA volunteer and always was available for a child in need. Before retiring she worked as district manager for Baskin Robbins, traveling to Alaska and Hawaii. She loved the outdoors and attended her Husband on fishing and hunting with the "girls" many times until her battle with MS confined her to their home. Cindy believed, REV: 14:13 Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord that they may rest from their labors and their works do follow them. Services will be held on Saturday, February 17th, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Church of Christ, 1610 I. Street, Eureka, Ca. The family ask in lieu of flowers, donations be made to CASA of Humboldt.
