It's finally here, Class of 2005!

Our Reunion Weekend is only weeks away, and I hope you are all excited for a great time catching up with one another.

As you know, Saturday July 25th, we will host a cocktail reception at Pa`akai Point on the grounds of the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay. If you haven't been there before, the setting is absolutely beautiful, and the ambiance will create an opulent atmosphere for all of us to gather at. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. This will serve as the main event in our Reunion Weekend. Please keep in mind, this will not be a sit-down dinner. There will be appetizers and pupus served and a cash bar on site.

On Sunday July 26th, we will be holding a family beach day at the Kohanaiki side of Pine Trees. It is my understanding that the entry is now paved, so all are welcomed to bring their families to enjoy a relaxing day at the beach.

Tickets will be $35 per person for the Reunion Weekend. The Reunion Board of Directors and I have worked efficiently to ensure we keep this event as cost effective for everyone, to ensure as many people would be able to attend from the best class Kealakehe has ever had. Each classmate will be allowed to bring one guest to the cocktail reception on Saturday night, but that guest will also be required to purchase a ticket.

Black cocktail attire is encouraged for Saturday evening's reception, just for fun.

First off, this site will handle the registration process for our Reunion Weekend. We are not allowing ticket purchases at the door. No entry will be permitted to anyone whom has not purchased a ticket beforehand. This is crucially important for our head count and food purchasing for the weekend. I repeat: ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE.

Here are directions for registering and purchasing tickets:

On the right side of the screen, you will see a login window. Toward the bottom of that box in blue letters it says "JOIN HERE," click that link and find your name on the list of classmates. This was to ensure that not just anyone had permission to purchase tickets to our Class event. (If you do not see your name, please let me know, and I will add you onto the list.)

After you create a profile, you will see a link on the left side of the page that says "Reunion Weekend," click that link and follow the prompt at the registration window.

Change the quantity if you are purchasing one or more tickets, and continue through the registration process.

Payments will be accepted online only through Paypal, or any major credit card. Remember, you DO NOT have to create a Paypal account. Any credit card should be accepted, if you choose to pay that way.

After that, you are set! I will be using the e-mail address you register with to keep in contact with you all leading up to the Reunion Weekend, especially for those who don't use the Facebook page.

For those whose would like to reserve a hotel room at the Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa at Keauhou Bay, there is a special Kama'āina rate they are offering to us (even cheaper than our event rate for reservations.) Please call Clarissa Yamamoto at 808-930-4962 to set up a hotel reservation using the Kama'āina rate.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please click the link to the left that says "Contact Us," or send me a message on Facebook, or text or call me.

PLEASE SHARE THIS WEBSITE WITH EVERY ONE OF OUR CLASSMATES YOU ARE IN CONTACT WITH. We don't want any of our classmates to feel as if they were left out, just because they didn't know about it. Simply refer them to waveriders2005.com --simple and easy!

On behalf of the Class of 2005 Reunion Weekend Board of Directors, thank you for being part of this event. I know it will be an amazing time for us all to be together.
