Ronnell Sumie Arakawa,of Kaneohe, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, passed away July 12, 2017 at Queen's Medical Center. She was 52. The third of three children, Ronnell was born in Honolulu on December 14, 1964 to parents Ronald T. Igarashi and Joy M. Igarashi, and was a graduate of Castle High School and Unit Secretary for Cardiac Invasive Department at Queen's Medical Center. Her favorite hobby was collecting Hello Kitty.

She is survived by sons, Payton Yamane and Colby Yamane; daughter, Mia Yamane; grandson, Evo Lancer Yamane; mother, Joy Igarashi; brothers; Wade Igarashi and Darrin Igarashi. Ronnell was preceded in death by her husband, Lance Arakawa.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Valley of the Temples Memorial Chapel, with a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m., a service of remembrance at 11:00 a.m. and a reception to follow.
