Deborah Bumgarner Lys

I moved to Boston, MA in 1999. I went to work for a start up called Color Kinetics, where I met and married my husband, the company's co-founder. A few years ago my husbands company was bought out by Phillips Electronics, which changed our lives dramatically.
Overnight we had the freedom to go wherever and do whatever we wanted, so we got the hell out of Boston! No more MA winters! We decided to move to La Jolla, Ca (northern San Diego) and we have been here since January. '09. We love it here and are looking (and looking and looking) for a house we want to buy. Like, it is so COOL out here, Dude!

I was quite confused in High School. I didn't know what I wanted and so I created a lot of drama for myself. I loved school, itself, but did not enjoy the reputation that preceded me. To all whom still wonder: I never was a witch, I was just a bit of a troublemaker! Despite being popular, I was the architect of a lot of my own problems, and I am sooo glad that my life since then has been wonderful! I probably owe a lot of people apologies, but I'll probably never make them ;)
