I remember John from Ervin JR High in my freshman home room. He seemed like a very sharp guy and could be a comedian when it came to skits in classroom literature. Sorry to hear that he has passed on. It really came as a shock to see a large handful of people I classroomed with who have passed into eternity.
I worked with John (Burger Chef? TG&Y? damn memory!) and had great fun hanging out with him. The man was constantly in motion and very funny. He was also a wildman behind the wheel of that green Ford LTD(?)...I believe I almost wet myself once.
