Kevin Scott Atwell, 51, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away December 14, 2012 at his home. Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, at St. Peters United Church of Christ, 700 E. 110th St., Kansas City, MO, 64131. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his children. Kevin was born February 13, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a concrete finisher for Gilsdorf Concrete for many years and most recently worked for Beacon Food Services with the department of agriculture. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Triestina “Babe” Atwell. He is survived by a fiancée Kelly Phillips, son Kasey Atwell, daughter Brandy Atwell, brother Steve Atwell, sister Tina Peters (James), nieces Elisa Neilson and Amber Lawson.
