 Stuart Nelson Gentry, 59, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on April 8, 2010. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m., Tuesday April 13, 2010 at McGilley Stateline, 12301 Stateline Rd., KCMO 64145. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to the Welcome House, 1414 East 27th Street Kansas City, MO 64108. Stuart was born December 9, 1950, in Kansas City, MO, to Donna (Hobbs) Gentry and Richard Nelson Gentry. Stuart was raised by his Grandparents Enoch N.and Sarena Gentry. After attending the University of Missouri at Colombia, Stu returned to K.C. and took a job at Kelly's Bar in Westport, serving as a bartender for 15 years. After working at Kelly's, he opened and owned the Daily Limit for 16 years. Stuart was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Bonita Gentry; stepsons, Andrew, Austin and Dylan; mother, Donna Moore; sisters, Melinda and Melissa. Condolences may be left at www.mcgilleystatelinechapel.com.
