Marcia Rogers, 59, of Kansas City, Mo, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the McGilley Midtown Chapel. Visitation will be 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday in Floral Hills East Cemetery in Lee's Summit. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Cairn Rescue USA, FDR Station, P.O. Box 6798, New York, NY 10150-6798. Marcia was born February 10, 1952 in Kansas City to Thomas H. and Marilyn V. (Miller) Sandbrook. She attended Border Star School, Southwest High School, University of Kansas and UMKC. Marcia's professional career spanned 37 years with Swanson's and Hall's, a company she dearly loved. She moved from sales into the credit dept. at Crown Center, where she recently retired. She was a member of Ridgeview Christian Church. Marcia was preceded in death by her mother in 1952 and her father in 1990. Her survivors include her husband of 24 years, Marvin, of the home; two sisters, Debby Ritz and husband James of Prairie Village and Marilyn Sue Boone and husband David of Gravois Mills, MO; many nieces and nephews and her Cairn Terriers, Taz and Stella.
