Connie was always so sunny and happy! What a great spirit! I'm so glad that we kept in touch even after high school. Blessings to you, Connie. You left us too soon.
Connie lived in the dorm at UMKC our freshman year, and I would spend the night sometimes. She always had a lot going on! It was so fun. I will never forget those weekends going to parties and her crush on Tuck Miligan. He was a senior at UMKC then, and he was doing lots of acting as he was a theatre major. That year was very memorable.
Connie and I connected again after we were both married with children. She was living out in the country and had the most adorable children with that beautiful white hair! Her little girl looked so much like her.
We lost contact and the next thing I knew, I was reading her obituary. I went to her funeral and was amazed to see "little Connie" in her high school aged daughter, Candy. I am so sorry we lost such a wonderful classmate. And based on all the talk at the funeral, she was loved by so many people.
