OBITUARY
Michael James Tyhurst, age 70, of Kansas City passed away on July 7th, 2021. Services will be Tuesday July 13, 2021, with Visitation beginning at 10AM followed by services at 11AM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City MO 64155.
Michael James Tyhurst was born on October 27th, 1950, in Kansas City. Michael was important to many, the roles he played as a father, grandfather, uncle, friend, and more will never be forgotten but it is the love he had for his wife Kathy of 49 years that will be carried with us for a lifetime. In the last few years, his biggest joy was to watch his grandsons at all their sporting event and would never miss a Royals or Chiefs game. We will miss his infectious smile, his humble demeanor, and the joy he brought to all of us.
He is preceded in death by his son Andrew, brother David, and his parents William and Mary Grace.
He is survived by his wife Kathy, son Adam, daughter Abby, 5 grandsons – Christian, Michael, Luke, Travis, Brandon, his brothers, sister and many nieces/nephews.
