SW 72 40th Year Reunion!

One week out! Here's a run down of events: The Main event will be held at The Beacon 5031 Main Street KC, MO Click on the '40 Year Reunion' tab here on the left for more info. But we also have a smorgasbord of other activities!

Mon Sept 17th, 6PM: Its gonna be reunion committee meeting and pre-party mode at The Beacon. All classmates invited. Help us with the final planning and engage in warm up party mode! Myron Haith says bring $! but we'd like to see ya even if you are broke!

Thurs Sept 20, 5:30 Happy Hour at the Bloch Building at the Nelson Atkins. That's right! They're open late and set up a bar only on Thursdays. Show up for the nicest best kept secret in town!

Fri Sept 21, 5PM: Its Plaza Art Fair weekend so we'll have a crew meeting on the NW corner of the Wornal Bridge. We'd suggest you park near the Beacon and walk over.

Fri Sept 21, 7pm on: Come to the The Beacon- 5031 Main- and  pick up your SW 72 nametag in the Vault Room. That's gonna get you discounts at The Beacon, Accursos and The Peanut. So its like a little neighborhood pub crawl warm up!

Sat aft Sept 22. Time to be announced. Event to be announced. We are working on a Southwest High school tour but we're having some problems communicating with the powers that be at the KCMO school district. Can you believe this? Yeah! I can too!

Sat Night 7pm on. The Main event! at the Beacon. We'll have some food and some keg beer but you'll also be able to order at a 20% discount (SW pre-registered nametags only) from the menu downstairs. Keg beer and cash bar upstairs. Group picture at 8PM.

Sun Sept 23 11AM. Breakfast at Winsteads Plaza. Be forewarned though: those drive up roller skating babes are no longer there. You'll have to come inside for service!

Sun Sept 23 noon. Chiefs vs Saints at the Peanut. Hey! The Saints are 0 and 2 also. We really need to win this one! It'll be worth it just to hang out at one of the few Plaza area dive bars that hasn't changed one iota. I'll talk Tony into some sort of discount for bloody marys or BLTs or something.

Countdown to Reunion Party Mode!

1) Be sure and denote the new Reunion venue. The Beacon on Main Street! Hit the '40 Year Reunion' tab for more info.

2) 'Missing Classmates.' Its not too late to track down a few old SW friends and make sure they are aware of our new lower price reunion!  If you can get their email address, click on their name and enter it. Class Creator site will take care of sending them out an invite.

We've got the ball rolling for the 40th reunion.

If you have any feedback on online aspects of the reunion planning, feel free to contact Robert Anderson and/or Ann Sloan Ebeling.

This Class Creator site will be evolving as we move closer to our 40th Reunion. Right now we have the basic website which will enable you to enter your contact data, profile info and pictures. Have at it!

You'll also see a box where you can enter a classmates email address and they'll get an invite to join our site. See it? Its here ~~~~>

Please help us out on tracking down classmates! There will be a door prize given the night of the reunion for the classmate who contributed the most on tracking down missing classmates! 

I'm also going to be adding our Sachem Senior Pictures to each profile and lots of old yearbook pictures.

We'll have lots of old pics, videos, games and all sorts of online nonsense.
