Jonathan Miller

Jonathan Henry Miller of Indianapolis died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005. He was 33. Born May 29, 1972, in Hindman, Ky., he was the son of Shelby and Barbara Miller. They survive in Kendallville, Ind.  He married Amy Miller; she survives.  He was a euphonium player for the Star of Indiana drum and bugle corps from 1990 to 1993, who won the Drum Corps International world championship in 1991. He wrote drill for and instructed several high school marching bands in northeastern and central Indiana during the mid- to late-1990s. He was most recently employed by Champions Sports Bar in the downtown Indianapolis Marriott.  Survivors also include his 5-month-old daughter, Alexandria Miller; one brother, Stephen Miller of Kendallville, Ind.; three sisters, Teresa (Doug) Freeman of Ege, Ind., Becky (Dave) Szeles of Valdosta, Ga., and Amanda Miller of Kendallville; several nieces; one nephew; and one great-nephew.
