My dad worked with Bryce at Flint and Walling.  He told me Bryce died of a brain tumor.

I took a Sociology class with Bryce at IPFW in the early to mid 90's.  We always sat next to each other.  It was good to have a college class with a familar face from EN.  It was during the Gulf War, and during a class discussion, he spoke up about wanting to kick Suddam Hussein's a**.  After the semester was over I never saw him again.  I was sorry to hear about his passing.  He seemed like a nice guy.  May he rest in peace.

P.S.  Didn't his name have a "y" instead of an "i"?

Yes his name was Bryce not Brice as I remember it.  I knew him from elementary school on up.  We were friends in elementary school, at least until he moved.  Boy I missed hime when he moved away and now that I know he has passed on I feel a hole in my heart.  Rest in peace my friend.

Brice was a good friend, even though he wanted to fight me one time at Chad Ihrie's house over poker.  We called him Oliver in German class.  As far as I can tell from the yearbooks and obituary in the paper, his first name was spelled with an "i".

I'm shocked and saddened by the news of his passing. It doesn't sound like he had a family of his own (wife/children). We will all miss not seeing him at the reunion. It would have been nice to catch up. You just never know how much of this life will be yours.
