I remember Mark well from the time I moved to K'bunk in 8th grade. He lived on the Sea Road and was on my bus. He, Mike Gordon and the other neighborhood guys used to play touch football on what was an empty field as you drove into Penwood. I think it was Mike's mother who made little flag markers for the yard lines and the field was known as Parker Stadium because is was in front of Mr. Parker's house.

One of my earliest memories of Mark is of him turning around in his seat in 8th grade science class trying to get me to say "farmer" because I didn't have a Maine accent. I thought it was some kind of joke and wouldn't say it.

Mark was an early childhood friend who lived on Brown Street in Kennebunk before he moved to the Penwood Area.

We used to hang out with Jerry Congdon, Tom Thomas, Carmela Salvato and a few others.

My parents eventually bought the Brown Street House that he lived in.
