I remember David well. We were never what you call close, but our relationship was cordial and we always spoke when we saw each other.

David was the victim of foul play when he was working at , if I remember correctly, the Shawmut Inn.

He passed away on April 3, 1974 at the age of 23,

I will try to get more information and pass it on here.

I was working at the Shawmut Inn as a manager, and had worked with Dave the night he died. The gunshot incident was never fully explained, even to those who worked with him on a daily basis. He seemed to have everything going for him - a new girlfriend, a new car, braces to straighten out his smile, and a good bar manager job. He was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. All the Shawmut Inn staff were like a big family, partying into the wee hours at the VCI or somebody's house a few times a week, and working ridiculous hours to save for a better future. His death was sure the low point of the year.

David and I grew up on the same street in Cape Porpoise..........We had a lot of fun together as kids growing up..........I still think about him.

I knew David from the time we were kids growing up in Cape Porpoise.  I also worked with him at the Shawmut Inn until his death.  He was a very sweet guy; and I loved him like a brother.  I think of him often.
