My wife is a flatlander and yes she spells her name with 2 ll's. So many people ask so I thought I would get that out and she was born in Kansas at an Army Post which makes her an Army brat. Whom I met at BIW when she was testing a hydraulic hose, she even broke my finger. She got mad at me and asked her Lead person who "that blooming idiot was" and it turned out to be me. And we have been together ever since. We will be married 19 years December 31, 2009. When she first read comments in my year book from Kennebunk she, her comment back was "ROMEO, OH ROMEO, WHERE ART THOU ROMEO" I guess she considers me a romeo of Kennebunk High school. HAHA!!!
We ride a 2003 Kawawski Vulcan 1500 Crusier. Both of us are Coast Guard Veterans, Paulla was one of the first women to go into the Coast Guard as active duty. We would like to retire to Tennesse in the Nashville area because I have a lot of Vietnam shipmates who live in the area. Between Tennesse and Iowa where Paulla's family lives we travel back and forth. We both love to cook, travel especially on the motorcycle, I hunt the whole month of November leaving Paulla to do what she likes to do best Quilt and craft, we are both members of the Elks Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star, I am a Mason, I carry multiple membership cards of numerous organizations (American Legion Riders, Patriot Guard Riders, American Legion, and goes on and on). We have 2 4 legged furry kids at home who rule the house Miss Biddy and Mr. Simon, my mom currently lives with my sister Beverly and her husband Jon in Yarmouth, and is 91 this year, sister Joy lives in Holden and is a teacher, brother Mick lives in Orland with his partner Cheryl. Dad passed away in 1997. Yes, we would move back to Kennebunk, if we could afford the house I grew up in. Paulla loves the old house and I consider Kennebunk home. We are always there when we were dating. I brought Paulla to Kennebunk when we first began dating and she fell in love with it. We come down to eat alot here. My favorite place is Kennebunk Beach watching the submarine races, with I won't mention with whom and Paulla likes the beach too. What spare time, we don't have much spare time but when there spare time and when the weather is nice we are on the motorcycle, Quebec City or Kennebunk. We would like to go on a cruise in the Carribean is what we would like to do next that we haven't done yet. The recent house fire has put a clinker in those plans but we are hoping to go forth for our 20th anniversary. Until recently I just got back in touch with Tommy Reagan through the Masons, I see Todd Kezar on the road and talk to him on the CB, and in November I stop and see Betsy Drowns and her husband Hurly for a drink before I go to Table Lodge in Kennebunkport.
