CLASS FIRST VISIT

Classmates,

Our class website is ready for ALL 1956 classmates to update their own personal information.   This is a secured website, so only our classmates will have access to whatever you have added to your profile.

Now lets get started:

The following instructions are just for your initial start up.

First, there is a tab to the left labelled "Classmate Profiles".  Click on this tab.  Find your name and click on the name.  Enter the email information under "join here".   Follow the necessary instructions (about five total steps).  Your request to join the site will be forward to Marge Huck Hall, Adminstrator and Joyce Kopacz Sorensen, '56 Site Helper.  Once we verify that you are one of the 1956 classmates, you will receive an email that you are now setup to enter and update or add your own information (including photos).   You do not have to add the information all at once.  You can do it over several days if you prefer.  After your are verified you will receive an email that you have given us that you can get onto the class site.  You then can enter the system under "Members: Log In" by entering your email address and your personal password.  Keep you password simple.

Also, as other classmates join and they are approved you will be able to view their information.  You will even be able to send a "private" email to any classmate that has email available.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE WITH US LEARNING A NEW SYSTEM - WE WILL ALL ENJOY STAYING CONNECTED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND HOPEFULLY CONTINUE OUR SITE UNTIL OUR NEXT REUNION.

ALSO:

In order to ensure you receive important messages from our class web site, as well as messages sent directly to you from other Classmates, it's important you whitelist the email address noreply@classcreator.net (that's a .net, not a .com).

What is whitelisting? Whitelisting simply means you are telling your email program to accept all emails coming from our class web site and our Classmates. The technique for whitelisting varies by email program, but generally you will see the term "Whitelist", "Safe List", or "Safe Sender's List". This is where you want to be sure you have added the email address noreply@classcreator.net.

Class Creator, the system that helps us operate our class web site, uses the address noreply@classcreator.net when sending out email messages. Be assured that all emails sent through our site are valid — you will not receive spam email. Whitelisting noreply@classcreator.net is the single most important thing you can do to ensure you don't miss anything happening on our site or miss receiving your emails from your fellow Classmates.

Stop and take a moment to whitelist noreply@classcreator.net right now, and ensure you stay connected!
