Steven Rangel

Steven L. "Flaco" Rangel, 36, of Kenosha, died on Monday, July 1, 2002 at Aurora Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in Kenosha on September 16, 1965, he was the son of Martin S. and Lucy D. (DeLeon) Rangel Sr. He graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School and was currently attending Gateway Technical College for HVAC.
He married Lucille Padilla in Kenosha in 1994.
He worked for Solo Cup Company in Highland Park, Illinois, for 10 years and then at Tempel Steel in Libertyville for seven years.
He was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, Kenosha Alano Club. He played the accordion and sang in the church choir.
Surviving are his wife of Kenosha; two sons, Martin and Alejandro; one stepson, Jesse Viesca, all of Kenosha; his mother and step-father, Lucy D. (Joel) Neave of Kenosha; three brothers, Martin Jr. (Diana), Jessie (Anne) and Edward (Betty), all of Kenosha; three sisters, Mary (Adolfo) Pizano of Waukegan, Illinois, Gloria (Steven) Kloet and Rachel C. Rangel, both of Kenosha.
He was preceded in death by his father.
