James Haag

RACINE - James L. Haag, 62, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Wheaton Franciscan Health Care - St. Mary's Campus. Born in Kenosha on October 3, 1947, he was the son of the late Earl and Jean (nee: Spakowicz) Haag. Jim was a 1965 graduate of St. Joseph High School. He attended U.W. - Madison and received his Bachelors Degree from University of Wisconsin - Parkside. In May, 2009 in Kenosha, he was married to Deborah Cannon- Clevenger. Jim was employed as a business consultant for Sunbelt Business Advisors in Schaumburg, Ill., specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Prior to his employment with Sunbelt, Jim owned and managed Badger Electronics in Franksville for 25 years. He was a member and past president of Meadowbrook Country Club. For many years, Jim was a volunteer at Hospice Alliance, Inc. Being an avid golfer, Jim cherished the time he spent golfing at courses around the country. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; his two children, Marc (Karen) Haag and Scott Haag; three step-children, Kelly, Miranda and Kyle Clevenger; two grandsons, Ethan and Seth Haag; his sister, Lois (Joseph) Zuchowski; and his adoptive daughter, Brianne Malnar. A Memorial Service in celebration of Jim's life will be held on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 7 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, followed by a time of sharing. A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Monday, from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances would be appreciated.
