Ken was the son of Edmund and Mark (Hefner) Winik. He loved animals and resided for most of his life in Pleasant Prairie. A graduate of SJHS, Ken also obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He was self-employed and his hobbies included all things sports related. Ken served his country honorably in the United States Army, including a tour of duty during the Vietnam conflict. He passed away at the Audie Murphy Veterans Hospital in San Antonio, TX.
