Dave died of cancer January 13th 2015. He left behind two children, Matthew McPhaul 33 and Kristin McPhaul 28 years old. He was married for 25 years , but divorced from former class mate Lynne (Servais, McPhaul) Brunner. They remained great friends until the end of Daves life. Dave also had, two beautiful granddaughters, Ani and Tilly McPhaul. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and will be missed so much. He was a hard working man who had so many friends and loved life. He died way to young but is now in Heaven.
Dave and I grew up in the same neighborhood by Lincoln park. Dave was always a good kid, good boy, and good man!! It seems so many that pass young like a David are some of the kindest people we ever knew!! RIP David you are missed.

David was very "cool" .. in the days at St. Mark's.. few sleep overs etc. He enjoyed wearing vest and chain bracelet... missed
