Remember working out with Dean in his basement when we were at Lance. We broke his mom's table wrist westling. Having a wrestling match in my parents  front yard.  Those were the days Dean. Wish you could be with us. Travel well.....

Des was a friend that you could always count on to have a good time. He was always out to create a rush! Usually crazy but that was Dean. It always makes me feel so good that he found a career he was enthusiastic about, what gets me through his choice was a job with math involved! I helped him so much with it cause his energy level was so high that math took time  and concentration, for him his.ajenda it didn't fit. He always was on the go! I spent a lot of time helping him out on math and that's what he ended up doing for a living. I think of him a lot and was very upset to hear of his passing. I hope his places beyond life he can work out with his wieghts and excersize all he wants! God bless Dean and rest in peace.

Dean always brought a smile and knew how to enjoy himself. I'll never forget being in gym class with him in 9th grade. We were working on wrestling for several weeks, learning the various moves-takedowns,falls, reversals, pins, etc. Well for our grade we had to wrestle someone from the class. I don't remember who the unlucky classmate was that was paired up with Dean, but nobody in the class was close to Dean in size or strength. When the P.E. teacher blew the whistle to start the match, Dean flipped his opponent like a breakfast omelette, then straddled him like riding a horse, and finally leaned most of his weight into pinning his shoulders to the mat, all in about 5 seconds. The P.E. teacher then is yelling No! No! No! you didn't do anything we worked on in class!  Dean looked over and said "but I pinned him, that's what we're supposed to do". Don't know if Dean received a good grade then, but I think he should of received an A+ for the entertainment value alone. I still laugh at that memory of  Dean.

Rest in peace Dean.

Dean sat next to me in a class senior year.  He always made me laugh, too, especially if I came to class in a down mood.  It never lasted long with Dean around!  RIP, Dean, and I would imagine you have the angels rolling with laughter up there.

I remember Dean was always trying to get Linda Welch to love him. Did it ever happen? He always brought smiles to our faces thru his antics. If only we could see him tonight at 60 years old, would he still be the life of the party? RIP, Dean

Dean and I worked in the same department at Badger Press. It was fun, Dean (The Karate Kid) would take  a sheet of paper and try to punch a hole in it..I wish I would have known him better He had a great sence of humor.
