Karen Jane Flippin Elliott, 50, of 4409 Glenn High Road in Winston-Salem died Sunday morning, June 18, 2006, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born June 8, 1956, in Forsyth County to Gilmer Lee Flippin Sr. and Geraldine Moore Flippin. Ms. Elliott was employed with AT&T in Charlotte and was of the Missionary Baptist faith. Surviving are a daughter, Constance Perdue of Winston-Salem; two grandsons, Christopher and Gavin; her parents, Gilmer Lee Flippin Sr. and Geraldine "Judy" Moore Flippin of Winston-Salem; brothers and sister-in-law Gilmer Lee Flippin Jr. and Robert Ray Flippin, both of Winston-Salem and Jerry Dean and Patricia Flippin of Kissimmee, Fla.; and her former husband and best friend, Randy Elliott of Winston-Salem.
