Robert William Fulp Jr.

 FULP KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Robert William Fulp Jr., 52, died Saturday June 28, 2008, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Fulp was born in Forsyth County to Robert W. and Carlene Fulp. Robert was a 1974 graduate of East Forsyth High School and a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and an award-winning D.J. at two Ocean Isle radio stations. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Carlene F. Hedrick of Kernersville; a sister, Debbie F. Griffin of Kernersville; a nephew, Kris Griffin of High Point; a special canine friend, Eddie; several aunts and cousins; and two best friends, Jimmy and Darrell Lane. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, at Gospel Light Baptist Church, with the Rev. Frank Shumate and the Rev. Tim Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, June 30, at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Funeral Home, Kernersville. The family requests that memorials be made to Reformers Unanimous, c/o Gospel Light Baptist Church, 890 Walkertown-Guthrie Road, Walkertown, NC 27101.
