John was in my class at East Forsyth Senior High in Kernersville, NC, and I worked with him for several years at the Dairy Queen in Kernersville in the mid 1970's.  We had a LOT of fun there...my sincere condolences to Robbie and the rest of the family.

I used to ride back and forth to ECU with John and his brother. The most amazing thing was to avoid having to stop to change drivers, they would just switch while the car was going 55 miles an hour. Didn't scare me then! Nothing but wonderful memories of John. I certainly hope his family knows how well thought of he was by everyone.
