GHS c/o 90 Reunion Details

Friday 10/1/10 @ 5pm-7pm- Come to Glenn to meet and greet your classmates, receive your event t-shirt & nametag, have an updated class photo made in the stadium,  and take a tour of GHS (there have been a lot of changes over the past 20 years!).  We will also provide maps/directions to all of our events.       

                           @7:30pm any classmates who would like to meet at the Fox & Hound are welcome.  We will have a private room and classmates can get re acquainted over drinks/snacks.  (Food and drinks on this night are not included in the cost of the reunion ticket.)  The Fox & Hound is located at 367 Lower Mall Drive,  Winston-Salem, NC 27103

Saturday 10/2/10 @11am-2pm.   Join your classmates with your family for a picnic at Fourth of July Park in Kernersville, Shelter 1.  We are serving BBQ chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs and the fixin’s.  There will be lots of activities for the kids including face painting, bounce house, meeting the Bobcat, etc.  Classmates, make sure you wear your Reunion T-shirt and nametag.  Fourth of July Park is located at 702 West Mountain Street, Kernersville, NC 27284.

                   @7pm – midnight.  Class of 90 Reunion at the Stevens Center downtown Winston-Salem.  Adults only, appropriate dress is cocktail attire.  Heavy Hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available.  There are several special things planned for this evening.  There is some parking on the street but, the best option for parking may be in the parking deck between Cherry St & Marshall St.  The Stevens Center is located at 405 West 4^th Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.

Cost:  $50 per classmate/$25 for guest (spouse or significant other, no additional charge for children on Saturday).  If you are married to a classmate, each classmate should pay $50.  The T-shirt, Saturday Family Picnic and Saturday evening event are included in the ticket price.  We are asking that all money be turned in by 9/10/10.  If you pay after this due date the classmate fee increases to $60. 

Checks should be made to Thomas Lipscomb and will be deposited into the account created for the reunion.  Please mail checks in the enclosed addressed envelope.

C/O 90 Scholarship Fund – The scholarship fund that we established in 1990 was depleted last year.  At the Saturday evening event we will be accepting donations to fund the scholarship in memory of Evelyn Bowen, Kendra Knight, Joe McDaniel, Lance McGee, David Moore & Matthew Swaim.  All future scholarships will be presented in memory of our classmates.   Also if you are not able to attend the event but would like to donate to the scholarship, please mail your check in the enclosed envelope to Thomas Lipscomb and indicate “Memorial Scholarship Fund” on the memo line.
