Benjamin Marentette

I think it's great that this website was set up! I regret that I missed the 10-year class reunion; I did not know any of the specifics. I hope everyone is doing well!

Life is mighty good here - I am very active both professionally and personally. Personally, I really enjoy kayaking, sailing, running, mountain biking and road biking (I recently completed a triathlon over Labor Day 2009!); cooking, traveling anywhere and laughing! My partner, Matt Turner, and I have been together for almost five years and we enjoy doing all of these things together - often in this awesome community in which we live!

Professionally, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Development and Management in 2003, and a MBA (Master of Business Administration in 2006. I currently serve as the Deputy City Clerk for the City of Traverse City and also the Executive Director for the Traverse City and Charter Township of Garfield Recreational Authority. Amazingly, and gratefully, I've found great work life balance and really love my career!

I look back fondly on my experience at Kingsley High School and am grateful for the quality education and the opportunity to have gone to school with great people. I look forward to posting more sometime soon.
