Dear Friends, Classmates, and Indians,                                               

            It is with great excitement that I write to you today concerning our 20^th high school reunion.  I cannot believe it has been 20 years since we walked the hallowed halls of our alma mater.  A group of us has been working diligently since November of last year to schedule and prepare for our reunion.  We have attempted to put together a fun and exciting reunion that is affordable, based upon your responses to our internet surveys.  The reunion will be held Friday night, October 16^th and Saturday, October 17^th.

            The registration cost will be $20 per graduate and will include a high quality Indian Pride T-shirt.  Each evening will be a separate event and you can choose to participate in one or both of the events.  All family members/children are welcome on Friday night at the DB homecoming game vs. Davy Crockett, and couples only on Saturday night for the Barn Dinner/Dance. 

            Friday night will kick off with dinner at 6:00 PM at the new alumni field house overlooking the stadium.  There we will partake of an all you can eat buffet provided by the Hot Dog Hut, to include hot dogs, fixings, dessert and beverages.  The field house has a balcony that overlooks the football field and the game may be viewed from the balcony, kickoff is at 7:30 PM.  If you or your family members wish to watch the game from the stadium, tickets may be purchased for $7.00 per person at the ticket booth prior to the game.  However, you are more than welcome to watch from the field house and enjoy reminiscing about old times.

            Saturday night we will hold a dinner/dance at the Allandale barn beginning at 6:00 PM with a menu of BBQ pork, grilled chicken, fixings, drinks and dessert provided by Braeden’s BBQ.  Following dinner we will have a short program consisting of recognition of those classmates who are no longer with us, and some videos from our high school years.  The DJ Doctors will play nothing but 80’s music for the best barn dance since 1989.  Saturday is BYOB for those of you who wish to partake in adult beverages.  We strongly encourage designated drivers and we ask that everyone act responsibly so that we can all enjoy a great night of fun.

            Finally, we would like to do something special as a class.  As a gesture to the school that has provided all of us with the memories and the opportunities that we can be thankful for, we would like each of you to consider contributing to a class gift that we are going to provide to the Michael McGuire and Blair Blankenship scholarship funds in honor of ALL of our classmates that are no longer with us.  We would also like to provide a small monetary gift to DB to be used at their discretion.  Our goal is to raise $2,000 in this effort.  With 400 graduates from our class, if we all do our part, we can not only reach, but exceed our goal.  Thank you in advance for your generous gift.
