Johnny was born in Indiana on January 20, 1960 to Ray Castle and Nell Compton Castle.

Mr. Castle was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Woodrow and Hortense Castle; Maternal Grandparents, Garland C. Compton, Sr. and Zola Compton.

In addition to his parents, Johnny is survived by his, daughter, Tyquia Tranbarger, Kingsport, TN; sisters, Joy Fisher and her husband, Scott, Rock Springs, GA and Jenny Castle, Church Hill, TN; and his beloved dog Lacy; other survivors include, beloved extended family, Tonia, Dennis, Dewey, Anthony and many special cousins and friends.

Johnny had a wonderful spirit. He enjoyed the outdoors but most especially fishing and coon hunting. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2013 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of The Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with G.W. White officiating. Bud Hulsey will provide the music.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Compton Family Cemetery in Dungannon, VA. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.

Family and Friends are asked to meet at the Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
