Zereka Bell (-Goodleigh)

Yes miss Judith mi with yuh pon di prize thing, and since technically mi get more than 10 people pon di site including unuh;I consider that I've won by default LOL.Therefore you and Sheryl can mail my prize to me :)(gigles).
You guys are doing a great job though,so keep spreading the word.Though it would be cool to have a reunion,it would be nicer to have the whole gang instead of 20 or 30 people.

Judith Alberga

Zereeka.....u r not qualified to win the prize.
Since u were the one who came up with this brilliant idea,
u had to get @ least 10 ppl.....so there goes
U will get a prize for that!!!!!
Anyway , we can start planning for the reunion next year
"SWEET SIXTEEN"
By that time we will almost have everyone

Hi Guys, We need to vote on the best month to have this reunion. We also need to decide if it's going to be in Kingston or in the country.

I think as far as that prize I've sent e-mails to even people that did not attend Merl Grove asking them to contact which ever 94 student they might have known.

I'm sure I way over ten people at this point. Lol..

The Yesteryear pictures were very refreshing. I need to search for the few that I have.

Thanks again Zereka..

Nice try Zereka but you would be ineligible for any such prize. Seeing as you are the creator lol

Met up with her in 8-3) Suzette Lewis(was in 7-2 and always in trouble she and Elaine Wint), Nedean Williams. Does anyone know where these girls are? Would love to know.

Fish, wha happen to yuh partna in crime, Lorilee or Shark if I must? Not to brag, but I'm frequently told that I have the memory of an Elephant. Not sure how true that is cah sometime mi caant even rememba weh mi eat fi dinna yesideh or wha day a di week it is. But to answer your question on how I remember all these girls, I have to say the majority of them were in 7-1 with us and those that I had school pictures of, I brought them to the States with me when I left Jamaica in 91. Others, there was just something about them that stood out and made me remember them to this day. But I have to say, for years I thought about most, if not all of these girls and even went as far as searching for them--you, Judith, Zana, Roxanne, Ann-Marie and many others included.

Despite, how I may have felt about certain staff, I must say that for the short time that I was there, meaningful relationships were formed and there were girls that I held near and dear to my heart. I am glad to say that my searching was not in vain. Many thanks to Zereka who saw it fit to make this a possibility and to Kerry-Ann who sent me the email request.

Hey Guys,
How did Mrs. Foreman die? My aunt had told me of her passing, but can't remember if she told me from what. I have memories with Ms. Foreman, it started out good, but ended on a sour note. In first form, I got one of the highest marks in Religious Studies and me an she a did "best a friends," not counting that she knew my aunt. Then in second form, I averaged a 70% in ar class. Lawd av mercy, di woman tell mi auntie seh all mi do a chat inna ar class an how mi start heng out wid di wrong crowd. Unno cah jus imagine wha happen to mi afta dat. Fram dat day a bare cut yeye shi get wen mi si ar a school. Of course dat neva las long eida because shi tell mi auntie seh mi si ar an ack like seh mi an ar a size.

Hey Guys, I wanted to share my experience with you all while I was in Jamaica about a week ago. I was in Port Antonio doing some photography work (it's my hobby) and all of a sudden I spotted this girl. So I said to the photographer, "stop the car, I went to school with that girl." I got out of the car and couldn't find de person. In disappointment, I went back to the car and told my photographer that I had lost the individual. He saw the look on my face and told me he would go with me to see if we could find her because I really looked upset. On my second try, I did see the individual and quickly I walked up to her and said hey Suzette. She looked at me weird. For those of you who remember Suzette Edwards, just think about the look. I said you don't remember me and she was like no. I said we were in first and second form together. Still she couldn't memba mi. But mi did soh glad fi si har, mi jus give ar hug and took some pictures with her. For years, I've been trying to locate Suzette and nobady could tell me anything about har. She's alive and well and look di same! She wanted me to say hi to a few girls like Denise Bent, Marsha Nisbett, Judith Alberga and a few others that she went to primary school with, i believe it was Half Way Tree Primary. For those of you who would like to contact her, she welcomes it and has given me her telephone number to share. It is 876 355-7888. You should have seen me, I felt like a kid in a candy store! I will definetely post some pictures as soon as I'm able to. By the way, I also linked up with Anna Leah while I was there. Still de same, sweet Anna as I remembered her. You had me LMAO!! That part I won't share. Love you girl!

Hi everyone,

Has anyone heard about an 85th anniversary banguet being put on by Merl Grove board of governors? I met up with a fellow past student (she was not in our year) and she was telling me about it.

November 2009, Merl Grove celebrates 85 years, so they are planning some big banguet. We could use that as the first reunion. Then we could plan the real reunion when we meet up. What do you say?
