Sandy Garris a cousin of Mary contacted me with the news that Mary passed away 05/06/2008. Here is what she wrote.
Survived By: Daughters Kaitlyn Potter & Kristen Potter
She was the greatest mother I know .... her daughters will greatly miss her. You could never find another person as kind hearted as Mary .. Kathy as we call her. Her husband Mike Potter passed on 3 years ago so now her daughters are living with some of the Potter family. Hoping they all are able to move on from such a loss in their lives.
I amshocked to see this and what is even more unusual is that I have had Mary on my mind for a few months now. I had a new neighbor and she reminds me of Mary and I have wondered how she was and my heart goes out to the family about your loss.
Mary was always so sweet and kind to everyone. She stuck out in my mind because of her smile and gentleness.
I know it has been a while since her passing but I wanted her children to know that Mary is thought of and was always someone that gave her friendship without expecting anything in return.
