Judith Rankin Stiles, 62, of Rice Avenue in Kittery, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at her home.

Born Jan. 30, 1949, she was a daughter of Alexander and Edna (Merrill) Rankin. She attended local schools, graduating from R.W. Traip Academy with the Class of 1967.

Judith worked for many years at the Kittery Business Center, for a time at both Hebert Candy and Lindt Chocolate. She enjoyed making handpainted lighthouses for Carol Spencer Collins for many years.

She was an active member for many years at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Kittery.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Stiles, and their daughter, Laura A. Greenlaw, of South Berwick, Maine; a granddaughter whom she adored, Alexandra Stiles-Greenlaw of York, Maine; a sister, Janice R. Pullyard and her husband, Bernard, of Auburn, Maine; and a brother, Jeff A. Rankin and his wife, Jennifer, of Corinth, Maine.
